900 Plus Children Are Waiting For KidsAbility Services By Thomas Hagey - Cambridge Now - Local News

One of the great highlights of the day was the discovery of a tremendous group of women philanthropists who answer to the unusually lengthy name of: 100WomenWhoCareCambridgeWaterlooRegion.Com.

They get together 4 times per year and they personally commit $100 per quarter enabling them to donate a large sum of money to local causes and charities. They presented a cheque for $10,000 to KidsAbility to help pay for the renovations at the new facility. It is a feel good, grassroots organization with a growing membership which has extended well beyond 100 individuals. Rather than change their name with every person who signs up beyond the original 100, they have chosen to refer to themselves as 100+ (Plus) Women Who Care... To read more of the story, click here
